L'idea nasce nel 2018 dal bassista Oscar Masciocchi che coinvolge suo figlio Davide, giovanissimo e talentuoso batterista e il chitarrista Aldo Guarisco. Inizialmente si tratta di studi per arrangiare ed eseguire brani del repertorio Fusion e Jazz (da qui il nome). Dopo poco tempo si aggiunge al sax Angelo Auguadro. Il sound così si arricchisce, i brani assumono varie connotazioni e contaminazioni e i quattro allargano il genere strizzando l'occhio al funk, al blues ma non
solo.
La formazione ha in repertorio brani di Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Robben Ford, Jaco Pastorius, Mike Stern, Wes Montgomery, Billy Cobham, Johnny A, Average White Band, The Meters, John Scofield, Dave Brubeck, Scott Henderson, Lee Ritenour ...
Solitamente esegue una scaletta di un ora e mezza potendo scegliere da un vasto repertorio permettendosi così di proporre concerti non ripetitivi.
Quando c'è la possibilità, si aggiunge al quartetto una bravissima cantante, Irene Ruggirello, ampliando così il repertorio con brani soul e rhythm and blues.
