The Blackpint were born in november 2005. After lots of gigs around Ticino (Switzerland), from far away places to the cities, in fall 2007 the Blackpint changed its formation.
Bache and Sara decided to leave the band due to personal reasons, giving the place to Remo (voice and guitar) and Damiano (bagpipe).
In December 2008 the first EP, containing three songs, is released and entirely downloadable for free from the band website.
In the subsequent years Blackpint were in a messy situation, characterized by very few gigs and by Laura’s exit from the band.
Meantime Sara come back in the band and took Laura’s place at the tin whistle and voice.
After this dark moment, they decided to come back on the scene recording its first full length album titled “Orizzonte”.
The album, produced in 2012 at JDM Studio in Giornico and mastered by Dave Collins in Los Angeles was released the 4th of may 2013, raising the Blackpint to another start!
