Cherry Pickers è una collective di musicisti smooth jazz sempre in evoluzione e di grande esperienza, che dal 2004 condividono una grande passione: fare “cherrypicking”, che vuol dire scegliere le ciliegie, le più belle. Per loro infatti tutte le canzoni sono come le ciliegie; non importa a quale genere appartengano, scelgono quelle migliori e le ripropongono in godevolissime versioni smoothjazz. Il loro gusto per l’arrangiamento creativo regala atmosfere eleganti, raffinate, il sound è di
piacevole ascolto per ogni tipo di pubblico e di evento. Il tutto è reso ancora più glamour e coinvolgente dalla personalità di Dagmar Segbers e dalla sua inconfondibile voce, ricca di emozioni e sfumature.
Il loro repertorio di brani è vasto, ricercato e accuratamente selezionato, adatto alle situazioni più differenti, un percorso accattivante tra le melodie di tante “ciliegie” senza tempo della musica pop, soul, jazz, latin e… anche dance, perché all’occorrenza i Cherry Pickers sanno anche animare e movimentare con il ritmo giusto il loro show.
Con i CherryPickers le canzoni si gustano proprio come le ciliegie; e siccome una tira l'altra... La formazione è disponibile anche in trio. Può arricchire il suo sound aggiungendo un chitarrista ed un sassofonista.
