biography
Dass die Hardrock-City Winterthur bereits von einheimischen Bands überflutet ist, war auch schon um die Jahrtausendwende bekannt. Trotzdem beschlossen Husky und Plüss in dieser Zeit, eine eigene Band zu gründen. Daraus entwickelte sich nach zahlreichen Formationsänderungen 2005 die Band ”Hellroom Projectors“
Die Musik der Band bewegt sich hauptsächlich in der Dimension des Stonerrock, jedoch sind auch gewisse Einflüsse wie Metal und Heavyrock vorhanden. Der Sound lebt somit von lauten,
heulenden Gitarrenriffen und kraftvollem Gesang, aufgebaut auf einem soliden Boden bestehend aus wummrigen Bassklängen und knackigem Schlagzeug.
Im Januar 2008 verewigte sich die Band auf ihrer ersten CD ”Caca Picante”, welche anfangs Mai im Gaswerk getauft wurde. Nachdem sie im Sommer 2009, erfolgreich den Opener das Stonerfestivals, Stoned from the Underground, machen durften, sind Hellroom Projectors motiviert weiteres Publikum zu begeistern...
