Réunissant des musiciens de différents horizons, KIF propose une musique grand public variée et énergique qui n'hésite pas sur scène à s'exprimer par l'improvisation. Un répertoire qui célèbre la musique américaine avec passion au travers de la voix de Steve Vergano, auteur-compositeur ayant longtemps vécu sur le nouveau continent, Alex Coudray, jeune bassiste qui a été son élève, Carlos Lopez, un batteur ancré dans les musiques noires du nord et du sud, et Frédéric Letté au saxophone qui amène à l'ensemble sa pratique du jazz.
