King Biscuit Time Blues Trio nasce nell'ottobre 2020 dall'incontro tra il duo formato da
Andrea Capurso e Mattia Rio con Paolo Redaelli, che diventa parte integrante del
progetto in occasione della registrazione del disco d'esordio del duo, Live To Reel.
Il repertorio è ispirato alla tradizione del primo blues elettrico di Chicago. I principali
riferimenti sono Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Jimmy Reed,
J.B. Lenoir.

Importante anche il lavoro di collaborazione con altre realtà musicali non strettamente legate al blues, come la liuteria Ground Custom e varie associazioni culturali del territorio, tra cui Black Inside e Circolo San Luis e Cascina Selvetto.
