Formé de cinq crapauds au lourd passé musical, ce nouveau groupe suisse romand vous présente néanmoins un disque frais et naïf, qui vous explique pourquoi on peut tuer pour son jardin, détester les avions, ou encore ne pas se montrer trop jaloux quand il s’agit de la femme d’un autre.
Et si KISSING TOADS, par un jeu de
sociologie carambar, vient dire le désarroi de la gente féminine perdue dans l’attente illusoire de la transformation d’un crapaud, la musique, elle, parle bien d’un rock à l’esprit définitivement pop et parfois vintage, parcourue d’embruns mélancoliques et d’âpreté sonore produite et mixée par Sam Chapuis ( rambling wheels, 120 secondes, macadam dive, Olivia Pedroli ).
