Sébastien Petitpierre, known by the stage name Littlestone, is a musician, handpan performer and founder of the Handpan Music School (), one of the leading organisations dedicated to handpan education in Switzerland.
Active since 2019, Littlestone has developed an artistic practice centred on live performance, improvisation and the relationship with the audience. He performs in a wide range of contexts, including concert halls, festivals, cultural venues, alternative spaces and private
events. His concerts take the form of adaptable performances, conceived in close connection with the venue, its acoustics and the performance setting.
Alongside his stage work, Sébastien runs the Handpan Music School, a specialised institution offering regular lessons, courses, workshops and personalised guidance for all levels. This structure enables him to develop a strong and coherent pedagogical approach, informed by an active artistic practice and an in-depth knowledge of the instrument.
His work is also characterised by close collaboration with several handpan makers, giving him a broad perspective on instruments, scales and sound configurations. This expertise is reflected both in his performances and in the educational formats he offers.
Littlestone’s projects can be integrated into programmes combining concerts and workshops, offering cultural organisations, festivals and institutions a comprehensive proposal that brings together artistic performance and knowledge sharing.
