Marvillous Beats is a Bronx, New York born violinist, composer and audio engineer now working out of the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. He grew up in a Jamaican family with five siblings in New Rochelle, NY where he began playing violin at 8 years old and making beats at 16.
Despite finishing college with an architecture degree, Marvillous Beats is no stranger to the music industry. He has produced songs for Interscope Records recording artist Tory Lanez and has performed live with Every Blue Moon's recording artist Wale and RCA Records recording artist Goldlink on NPR Tiny Desk. Marvillous Beats also has been featured on Fox 5 News, The Washington Post, Blavity, and has performed live on radio in Takoma Park, Maryland and Listen Vision Studios in DC. Marvillous Beats has performed live at venues such as The Howard Theatre, Lincoln Theatre, Hard Rock Cafe, U Street Music Hall, Eden Lounge, Asia Cafe, Pure Lounge, Big Chief, and City Winery in Washington DC - as well as The Fillmore and Takoma Station Tavern in Maryland.
