Créé en 1979 dans un train de banlieue par François PELLARIN (guitare) et J.Jay GUERTCHAKOFF(chant). RASH PANZER connut trois phases majeures: la Lémanique en 1 qui ne connut qu'un concert dans un garage avec Fabrice KALTENRIEDER aux claviers, Marcel BAJULAZ (guitare) et Thierry NICOLLIER (batterie).

RASH PANZER marqua le paysage du rock hard et heavy européen et indépendant jusqu'en 1991, avant que le chanteur-concepteur de RP ne décide de clôre la saga dans le temple du

rock indie genevois "l'Usine" au cours d'un enregistrement live épique devant une salle comble.

biography

En 1986, la dernière est la période américaine. Dès son retour des Etats-Unis où J.Jay joua avec Midnight Mission et Grey Brother, il prit contact avec Thierry WETZEL (batterie), Alain BAYS (basse) et Renato DANI (guitare) pour démarrer ce projet, Pascal BAVAUD remplaça Thierry. Dès 1987 le groupe fut renforcé par Christophe Popof RICHARD (batterie) et Bernard MONNEY (guitare).C'est en 1988 que le groupe laissa une première trace discographique avec le EP: Rock' n Roll Street. Ce

disque fut produit par Jean Ristori, John Wooloff à Genève aux Studios Aquarius et à Londres au Videosonics par Dennis Weinreich. Une vidéo fut visible sur tout le circuit des vidéojukebox dans toute l'Europe.
