Smootalia is the first and unique band in Switzerland proposing the finest selection of "Cantautori" music with original arrangements in a jazzy-soul mood.
Smootalia ever growing playlist include classics like Paolo Conte's Via con me, '70 and '80 masterpieces from songwriters such as Pino Daniele, Lucio Battisti, Fabio Concato, Mina, Bruno Martino, Lucio Dalla.
Also, we propose songs from contemporary Italian songwriters as well as instrumental music with jazz
improvisation.
Our cocktail would suit relaxing events with a twist of funk, reggae and bossa nova.
IMPORTANT: Our music is fully played by musicians. We don't use pre-recorded (midi) bases!

For large venues, we need a sound system, at least 4 stage monitors a light system, bass and guitar amplifiers, 4 microphones for vocal and saxophone, and a drum kit.
