L’Ottetto vocale The Sweet 8 di Cugnasco (TI) è nato nel maggio del 2020 da un sogno nel cassetto di una degli 8 componenti: Cristina Forner. Con il desiderio di eseguire brani a cappella di ogni genere sia per voci maschili che femminili sognava di creare il primo ottetto vocale del Ticino. L’hanno seguita in questa impresa tre colleghe del Gruppo Vocale Cantadonna, il fratello Stefano e due voci maschili già membri di altri rinomati cori. Egregiamente diretto dalla ma. fatto il suo debutto davanti ad un folto pubblico sabato 3 ottobre 2020. Lo scopo del gruppo è quello di offrire musica vocale di buon livello e di divertirsi insieme. I progetti futuri comprendono molti altri concerti e fantastiche esperienze musicali!
