Siamo una cover band e suoniamo con passione da parecchi anni: vi faremo trascorrere una piacevole ed allegra serata in compagnia dei vostri amici e delle “nostre”

canzoni! Ci esibiamo in ristoranti/bar/festival, ma anche in occasione di matrimoni e feste private (ad es. di compleanno).

Il nostro repertorio - che può durare a richiesta fino a 3, 4 ore ed oltre - comprende parecchie canzoni dei Rolling Stones, ma possiamo eseguire pure un’ampia gamma di brani di vario genere, dal pop al rock, dal soul al rock’n’roll (dagli anni ’60/’70/’80 in poi), con la "colonna sonora" delle migliori Hits inglesi e Usa!

Abbiamo esperienza di matrimoni, compleanni, feste private e concerti live in pubs e festival musicali: sarà dunque nostra premura far sì che tutti i presenti siano contenti durante la festa (ossia durante la cena, con brani più soft in sottofondo, e poi durante il ballo ed il prosieguo della serata: sappiamo animare ben bene tutto l’ambiente!).

Noi New Dream usiamo la strumentazione tipica dei gruppi rock-blues originali (senza basi preregistrate e senza l’ausilio di strumenti elettronici): la nostra musica è rigorosamente tutta “live” e coinvolge il pubblico con ritmi emozionanti che fanno rivivere i mitici anni musicali precedenti, inducendo quasi irresistibilmente al BALLO. Buon divertimento!

Set Up
We just need enough space for 4-5 people, electric power and, in case of open air events, a tent or a gazebo big enough to fit all instruments inside. We provide for the rest: PA, Lights, instruments, amps, etc.

References / Experience

We have been playing since 1967 (with the former founders of the Band) all around Switzerland. We some internal changes we got to the present renewed structure. We added new skilled musitians but we keep the original sound, the strong music power and the usual party-attitude.

biography

Un primissimo nucleo del gruppo nasce nel lontano 1967, quando i giovanissimi “very little boys” Dany, Paul e Franco, con Claudio e Pier, formano i Dream Drifters.

1969: nascono i NEW DREAM: Dany (lead sing.), Paul (bass, voc.), Franco (guit., voc.), ai quali si aggiunge - proveniente dai Jerks - Angel (drums, voc.).
Fine 1969: Franco lascia il posto a due chitarristi, Christian e Roberto (Robby). I NEW DREAM si esibiscono ora con molto successo in tutto il Ticino.

Dopo

diversi cambiamenti/interruzioni, dal 1975 al 1981 nuovi successi con Dany, Angel, Franco - l’ultimo anno sostituito da Bruce -, Antonio (bass) e Zeno (keyb.).

2005-06: il gruppo si riforma!
2007: Dany, Angel, Paul, George (bass), Gianluca (guit., voc.).
2010: George si trasferisce, benvenuto Carlo, nuovo bass!
Nel 2011 Dany lascia The New Dream (ci dispiace davvero!) ed entra nei N.D. il nuovo lead sing.-harm.-guit. Berdy: benvenuto!
2017: Gianluca lascia The N.D.!
