We were all musicians and friends engaged in different bands who found out a common passion for folk traditional music, especially from Ireland, Scotland and celtic area. Years ago we put up a special show in loving memory to our friend Marco Dalla Villa. It was supposed to be a one-night show, but after that successfully night, we decided to keep on playing together just to have craic, drink and courting as many lassies as possible. Unsuccessfully, of course.
People's response has been amazing and in less than four years we played more than 200 shows, including an awesome one with Dropkick Murphys from Boston, USA. In 2012 Dirty Bastards did a busking tour in Ireland and U.K., playing in Dublin, Galway, Waterford, Sligo, Manchester, Holyhead and somewhere else we can't remember.
Dirty Bastards is nothing more than the explicitation of our passion in playing music and have fun on stage with long time good friends.
