Die Band-Mitglieder von VoxxBoxx haben ihre Ursprünge bzw. machten zusammen Musik in den verschiedensten Formationen und Stilrichtungen.
Die im 2013 gegründte und ürsprünglich mit einigen Gastmusikern besetzte 8-köpfige Formation von VoxxBoxx setzt sich seit 2014 aus ihrem Kern von 3 Musiker/innen zusammen. Einerseits wollte VoxxBoxx weniger technischen Aufwand betreiben, um auch an kleineren, intimeren Anlässen spontan zu spielen andererseits lässt sich VoxxBoxx auf diese Art sehr
flexibel an die Bedürfnisse eines Anlasses anpassen.
Das Repertoire von VoxxBoxx lässt sich keinem bestimmten Musikstil zuordnen sondern es sind Songs aus den verschiedensten Richtungen wie Rock, Soul, Jazz, Latin, ein Mix aus Groovigem wie auch schönen Balladen – wie sie selbst sagen, einfach Musik die ihnen gefällt und auf die sie Lust haben, sie zu spielen.
