Angelina Yershova is a Kazakh pianist and composer whose artistic research explores the intersection between space and sound, creating immersive sonic landscapes that transcend the traditional boundaries of the piano.
Trained from an early age, she graduated with honors from the K.Baiseitova Republican Musical College in Kazakhstan, and went on to earn degrees in Piano, Composition, and Orchestra and Choir Conducting at the "Kurmangazy" National Conservatory in Almaty. After
relocating to Rome, she completed her degree in Electronic Music at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, refining a unique style that weaves classical rigor with improvisation and electronics, investigating the perception of space through resonances, textures, and silences.
Her pianistic practice, rooted in the classical tradition and enriched by contemporary technologies, generates ethereal sound architectures that transport the listener into dreamlike dimensions. Yershova blends meditative minimalism, improvisation, and electronic soundscapes, dialoguing with urban and cosmic environments to redefine the relationship between instrument, body, and acoustic
space.
