La Piva Rock Band nasce nel 2007 da un'idea di alcuni ragazzi gemoniesi stanchi della "solita musica" ...
L'idea è quella di rivisitare la tradizione musicale natalizia mantenendo però lo scopo, comune ad essa, di regalare della buona musica, buon umore e, almeno per un attimo, far vivere chi ascolta in un mondo fatato, fatto di colori, luci e suoni.
Gli apprezzamenti della popolazione gemoniese hanno spinto i ragazzi a portare la loro musica anche al di fuori del
loro paese (a cui dedicano in genere la vigilia natalizia), portando il particolarissimo progetto in molti locali del nord Italia e passando per alcuni paesi limitrofi.
