Confirmed booking

  • Start by clicking the Check Availability button. You’ll find the button on the artist page. Make sure to enter your exact event’s details.
  • Wait for the artist's response, with its remuneration request.
  • If the artist confirms the availability and the remuneration is within your budget, you can confirm by clicking the blue button Confirm Artist and Send Message.
  • Review all details from the checkout page and proceed with the payment
  • Click the Checkout Button, choose our payment Method and proceed with the payment.
  • By confirming the booking, you agree to the policies and terms

At the moment, is not possible to change a confirmed booking. Please contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

We support several payment methods. Options differ when you’re on your mobile phone. Options may include:

  • Major credit cards and pre-paid credit cards: Visa, MasterCard
  • PayPal for selected countries
  • Postcard
  • Postfinance
  • Invoice

Offline cash payments are a violation of our terms of use and can result in removal from the site.

Our payment system is secure, reliable, and convenient, supporting many currencies (CHF & EUR) and several types of payment and payout methods.

Payment: the money a organizer pays for a booking.

Payout: the money an artist receives for a booking.

When the organizer confirm a booking to the artist, the organizer provides his or her payment details and the payment is processed and collected by Stagend in full. Whether the event is two days or two months away, we hold the payment until the event’s day before releasing the funds. Stagend does not endorse cash payments. In order to uphold our Terms of Service, transactions must take place on the site. By completing your transactions on the site, the security of your funds is ensured, and you’ll be protected by policies, such as cancellation policies. Read more about payments and payouts.

We only support a certain number of booking currencies (CHF and EUR). Currency options differ by country and payment method. The currency in which you will be charged is listed before you book.

Additionally, if you pay in a currency that’s different from the denominated currency of your payment method, your payment company (for example, your credit or bank card issuer) or third-party payment processor may apply a currency conversion rate or fees to your payment. Please contact your provider for information on what rates and fees may apply, as these are not controlled by or known to Stagend.

Depending on the country of your payment method, we may be able to process in these currencies:

  • Visa/MasterCard: CHF, EUR
  • PayPal: CHF, EUR
  • Postcard: CHF
  • Postfinance: CHF

If your booking is accepted, meaning confirmed and ready to entertain, you will receive an email with a resume of the conditions.

Organizers: In order to have an accepted booking, you must book using the Stagend payment system. Once your request has been officially accepted, you will receive an email notification from Stagend. Then you can have access to artist’s contacts and let us pay the artist after the concert.

Artists: In order to have an accepted reservation, you must have accepted the reservation request. Next, wait the final confirmation from organizer and then coordinate the details of the event.

If you do not have a confirmed booking: most artists reply to messages within a few hours. If an artist has not responded to your enquiry, feel free to reach out to other artists in the area. It is up to artists to respond to you in a timely fashion or risk losing their chance to perform for you.

If you have a confirmed booking: most artists reply to messages within a few hours. Make sure to try all means of contacting your artist. If you're having difficulty reaching him or her via the Stagend messaging system, try email and phone. Refer to your summary for this contact information. Please ensure you have:

  • Checked your email inbox associated with your Stagend account
  • Checked the Stagend message thread
  • Called your artist
  • Emailed your artist

If you still didn’t receive any answer: contact us to help you contact your artist and assist with making alternative choice should we be unable to reach your artist. Our Organizer Refund Policy supports you in the event your artist fails to answer you: we can either fully refund you or transfer your payment to a new artist on Stagend.

The total price you pay for artists includes the remuneration plus any applicable fees and taxes.

Remuneration

Unlike other booking industries, there’s no standard event rate for booking an artist on Stagend. Each artist sends you directly the amount they’d like to charge for their performance.

To find out what the artist charges, be sure to contact him/her and enter the dates of your event and all relevant information like location, show length, etc.

Fees

There are three types of fees you may need to pay in addition to the base price of artist:

  • organizer service fee
  • Payment method costs
  • Currency exchange fee

Stagend charges organizer service fee for each booking to help cover the costs of running our business, including our ability to offer customer support and payment safeness. The amount of the service fee is flexible between 4% and 12%.

The chosen payment method can charge you at the moment of the booking confirmation. These costs will be clearly shown to you at the moment of the booking confirmation.

Taxes

We’ll include Value Added Tax in our total organizer service fee. Because our headquarters is based in Switzerland, we charge VAT at the rate of 7.7% of the base service fee and relevant currency conversion fees.

If an organizer cancels a booking, the service fee is non-refundable. If an organizer chooses to be refunded after an artist cancellation, the service fee is refunded.
